Paperback. The Lord's Appointed Times: Christ, the Feasts, and the Household of Faith invites ordinary Christians to see God's calendar of feasts as a single, Christ-centered story-and then gently shows how that story can shape life around the family table without adding a new set of rules.Time is not an accident in Scripture; from Genesis onward, God orders days and seasons and gives Israel "appointed times" that rehearse rescue, holiness, harvest, atonement, and joy in His presence. This book walks through the seven major feasts-Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Weeks, Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles-explaining each in its biblical context and tracing how it is fulfilled in Christ as the substance behind the shadow. Written for parents, singles, widows, pastors, and small-group leaders who love Scripture and want to avoid legalism, it offers clear teaching, honest guardrails against adding to the gospel, and simple, optional practices that help households talk, pray, and hope together without turning the calendar into a burden. You will find full-length chapters on each feast and on the Sabbath as the first appointed time; reflections on the home as a "little sanctuary" in a distracted age; and gentle guidance for teaching children while keeping Christ's finished work at the center. Every suggestion is framed as "you may, not you must," emphasizing that your standing with God rests on Christ's sacrifice, not on your consistency, and the book closes by deliberately landing on grace so that families rest more deeply in what Jesus has already done-even if they never implement a single idea perfectly, or at all.
