Wendy Backlund, along with her husband, Steve Backlund, pastored churches for seventeen years in California and Nevada. Wendy and Steve co-authoredIgniting Faith in 40 Days. The two of them now live in Redding, CA, where Steve is on staff and Wendy oversees the "Spiritual Intelligence" small group of third year Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) students. The two of them travel together and speak to churches to bring encouragement to the Body of Christ and restore joy and hope everywhere they go. They have three children and five grandchildren.
