We have four new essays about Elias: An Epic of the Ages, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, religion and the Legend of Zelda, and memories of Meg and company in Madeleine L'Engle's Time Quartet. There's also an in-depth interview with author DJ Butler and four new poems for your enjoyment!

The second issue of Further Light, a semiannual magazine featuring science fiction, fantasy, alternate history, magical realism, and light horror short fiction, creative scriptural retellings, poetry, and literary criticism in the Latter-day Saint tradition. Further Light seeks to explore the restored gospel through the medium of the human imagination. Our goal is to enjoy the fandoms we love, to experience new ones, and to expound on the eternal truths buried within them. We publish fiction, poetry, and nonfiction that helps readers connect to gospel principles through speculative fiction.
