Paperback. From a tiny farming town in Idaho to the glamorous world of modeling, Renee Tenison's life looked like a fairy tale from the outside. As the first African American Playmate of the Year, she achieved a level of success most only dream about. But behind the magazine covers, television appearances, business ventures, and red-carpet moments was a woman navigating heartbreak, unexpected detours, devastating setbacks, and the constant challenge of reinventing herself. In The Life I Didn't Plan, Renee shares the deeply personal story behind the headlines. With honesty, humor, and grace, she reflects on the lessons learned from love and loss, fame and failure, entrepreneurship and resilience. From growing up in a small town with big dreams to rebuilding her life after personal and professional challenges, she reveals how the most meaningful chapters are often the ones we never see coming. This is more than a memoir. It's a story about finding strength in uncertainty, embracing reinvention at every stage of life, and discovering that sometimes the life you never planned becomes the one you were meant to live.Inspiring, heartfelt, and unforgettable, The Life I Didn't Plan is a testament to the power of resilience, faith, and the courage to begin again.
