The book, My Life Photographing Birds, achieves different goals for different people. Firstly, the 400 full color bird photos with informative captions covering 200 bird species demonstrate how serious bird lovers can capture inspiring images of birds they love. Secondly, the photos in this book are a pleasure to casually look through and enjoy for any nature lover. Thirdly, the photos and captions provide an easy-to-grasp familiarity with, and appreciation for, a wide spectrum of different types of birds. Unlike comprehensive bird identification books which show standardized poses of every bird, My Life Photographing Birds present varied and inspiring poses of birds. Many of these photos are considered to be art photographs and have been shown in local art galleries in Maryland.
