Who am I?
My name is Dr. Muzz. I am a medical doctor working in the United Kingdom. I passed the Life in the UK Test on my 1st attempt in January 2022 and I now have Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).
As a medical doctor, I have done countless exams, both in medical school and in postgraduate training. Through this process, I have mastered the art of examination technique by using time-efficient and scientifically-proven learning strategies.
My deep love for education has driven me to become the Lead of Education in my current hospital and a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham, UK. I have used my 12+ years of experience, knowledge and training in sitting exams and educating others to create this book.
The 3 main challenges I faced when preparing for the test were:
- Not having enough time to prepare when working 13-hour shifts
- Remembering dense facts was hard. The official guide is essentially 150 pages of dense facts that were completely new to me. I forgot most of what I had read within hours of reading it.
- Practice tests missed the mark. Online practice tests failed to get the level of difficulty of the test correct. Some were either too easy or too hard.
Having passed the test and having spoken to many who have done it before, I realised that there is a far more efficient, easy and quick way to prepare. I have therefore written this book to address all of these challenges to make studying manageable, enjoyable and ultimately successful. This is the book I wish I had when I was preparing for the test.

Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
