Paperback. Exploring the life cycle of a plant in this book is straightforward and lucid, employing the process of a seed's growth as the point of departure and a more meaningful plot. It points out how a small seed holds within its shell the key to the idea of development, conserving energy in the process of germination and the growing ambiance of the formation of a seedling, a plant, and a full-grown tree that bears fruits - seeds. Such a detailed description of the development leaves no one indifferent and prevents the reader from imagining that transitions between the stages are disjointed. The book is about biological activities, accentuates tolerance, a humane attitude towards the individual, and the necessity for an appropriate growth milieu. It educates that growing up is an ongoing process that does not happen overnight, and that each step possesses its respective worth. Through connecting actual characteristics of nature with experiences of the people, the book induces the reader to observe nature in a more detailed way, think about how change happens to them as well as others, and see the way life moves in a calm and consistent manner.
