This is the second book in the series, “Saga of Lewie.” The first book, “Meet Lewie” told of a young man’s growing up, girls, marriage, and the Salty Seas Resort. “Lewie Two” expands his adult life, adding two daughters, a new home, and mixed families.

I know I had just about the perfect childhood with my parents, two sisters, several uncles, aunts, cousins and grandparents, growing up in the small hamlet of Bolster’s Mills, Maine. On into later years my world crashed in—losing my petite, talented and loving daughter, Gloria Gene, 20 years old, then my husband Gene somewhat later. My son Glen, his wife Amy and their children survive. After 3 or more years trying to recover from my losses, I feel God stepped in showing me I had a talent I was unaware of to perform what I call ‘gigs’ to please people, which I took to do at various occasions, attired head to toe in appropriate and/or ‘quirky’ outfits. I gave it my all! A few of these comedies: ‘The Little Red Schoolhouse’—‘A Jimmy Durante Solo’—‘Sailor In Town’—‘Aba Daba Honeymoon’ with my husband, Jim, and the one I was asked the most to repeat, ‘Second Hand Rose.’ To this day I’m often spoken to as ‘Rose.’
