Practical, fatherly guidance for young women navigating marriage and character. Drawing on thoughtful, common‑sense advice, this book helps readers weigh wealth, social circles, and personal virtues when choosing a partner. It aims to ground decisions in dignity, responsibility, and benevolence.
In these pages, a father speaks plainly about what makes a good life partner. The guidance focuses on avoiding risky matches and cultivating a noble spirit, even when circumstances change. It emphasizes diligence, integrity, and the importance of marrying for character over wealth or status.
- Wise rules for evaluating a potential spouse and avoiding common pitfalls.
- Honest discussions about money, class, and the impact of marriage on dignity and happiness.
- Character traits to value, including industry, prudence, and a benevolent spirit.
- Practical perspectives on social expectations and personal choice.
Ideal for readers of family guidance and late‑arising questions about virtue in everyday life. The book speaks to those seeking steady, respectful approaches to love, marriage, and personal growth.
