RARE gilded & embossed hardcover book, sorry no dust jacket. "Lectures on the Principles of Political Obligation" By Thomas Hill Green. With a Preface by Bernard Bosanquet. This is the New Impression, 1911. 8vo, 22.7 cm x 15.4 cm x 2.1 cm, Brown cloth-covered boards, Gilt embossed lettering on spine. 252 pages. Weight: 537 Grams. There are numerous ink & pencil annotations and under-linings throughout the whole book. Cover and spine are scuffed, worn, bumped & marked, discoloured in places, edges scuffed & worn. Corners are bumped & frayed. Small sticker on 1st end paper. There are several cracks forming & some exposing hinges throughout the book. 2 extra 'pages' with handwriting have been inserted and stuck inside the book. Some pages (very few) have faint creases, folds, and/or tiny split either end of spine area and on edges, and/or tiny pieces missing on edges. Some pages have frayed edges. Light age tanning & very occasional foxing throughout, more pronounced on end papers & inner edges of pages. RARE ANTIQUE, READING COPY ONLY!!!
