Carla Mason is supposed to be taking it easy. She's not supposed to be falling in love...

After an incident at work, Carla's heart and job are on the line. Having decided to take a leave of absence, she needs time to recuperate, and where better than on her best friend's farm in Picklewick.

Ashton Clarke, the local postie, is still reeling from breaking up with his girlfriend after she accused him of being boring and lacking ambition. His confidence has taken a knock, and he retreats into himself to avoid being hurt again.

When a chance encounter throws Carla and Ashton together, there is an instant attraction, although neither feels ready to love again. However, Carla can't deny her growing feelings, and Ashton is equally smitten. But just as love begins to blossom, a series of events throws their romance into turmoil.

Torn between returning to her old life or starting a new one in Picklewick, Carla has a decision to make.

With her relationship with Ashton in the balance, will she make the right one?

This is the seventh novella in The Farm on Muddypuddle Lane series.
