Paperback. You're capable. You're qualified. And the market has gone quiet. Why are experienced professionals getting ignored?Because the hiring market has changed. A strong resume is no longer enough. Experience is no longer enough. In most hiring processes, your application is parsed, ranked, filtered, and often rejected before a human being ever reads it. Recruiters search databases before they open applications. LinkedIn profiles surface - or disappear - based on keywords. Referrals move faster than portals. And AI now sits on both sides of the hiring conversation.Land Your Next Role is the playbook for senior professionals competing in this market.Written by a senior delivery leader who went through this crisis himself - five hundred applications, zero calls - and built the system that ended it.Inside this book you will learn how to: - Understand why silence is rarely rejection - and how that reframe changes your entire search - Stop applying randomly and start targeting precisely with role clusters and career mapping - Build resumes that pass ATS filters and read well to recruiters in under ten seconds - Use a nine-prompt AI workflow that compresses each application from two hours to fifteen minutes - Activate referrals, warm introductions, and recruiter relationships that bypass the application queue - Use LinkedIn as a search engine - and become discoverable to the recruiters already looking - Follow up without sounding desperate, using scripts proven across hundreds of applications - Adapt your search for India, the UAE, the UK, Singapore, the US, Europe, and remote markets - Run a daily execution rhythm that produces results without burning you outWhat's inside: 31 chapters, a complete nine-prompt AI system, country-by-country playbooks for seven markets, two ATS-safe resume templates, outreach and follow-up scripts, a 72-hour quick-start plan, and a daily execution model designed for a months-long search. This book is for you if: - You have fifteen-plus years of experience and your old job-search methods have stopped working - You were laid off, managed out, or watched the next level close above you - You are still employed but planning your next move from a position of strength - You are returning to the job market after a career break and finding the rules have changedThis is not motivation. It is not generic resume advice. It is a manual for becoming the candidate the market comes looking for.Stop getting ignored. Start landing interviews This item is printed on demand. Most senior professionals begin a job search on the worst possible day — after a bad week, a reorganisation that took the interesting work away, a promotion that went to someone else. The decision to leave gets made in the heat of a single afternoon, and by the next morning the applications are already going out: reactive, slightly angry, and aimed in no particular direction.
Land Your Next Role begins somewhere else entirely.
Before you touch your resume, it asks the questions almost no one stops to ask. Can you still grow where you are? Is this place genuinely toxic, or simply hard? What could be fixed without leaving at all? And if leaving really is the right move, are you building the foundation — your skills, your network, your visibility — before the search, or trying to rebuild the engine while driving the car?
This is the senior professional's operating manual for a hiring market that has quietly changed beneath them. It shows you how to take control of your own timing instead of waiting to be pushed, how to make the right roles come to you rather than chasing them across job boards, and how to build a resume that machines and managers both rank highly. Above all, it makes one argument and then proves it across every chapter: the candidates who win are rarely the ones who applied the most, or polished their resume the most cleverly. They are the ones who became the obvious fit — and made sure the system could see it.
Stop applying harder. Start winning smarter.
