The Knight of Unfiled Forms
A Royal Misadventure
Bastion Boldridge was not meant to be a knight.
He faints at loud noises, apologizes to furniture, and once submitted a form asking permission to submit another form. So when a clerical error accidentally appoints him Knight of Unfiled Forms, Bastion does the only reasonable thing—he panics quietly and reports to the palace anyway.
In a kingdom where paperwork has opinions, shelves rearrange themselves out of spite, and missing documents can destabilize royal authority, Bastion is thrust into the most dangerous battlefield of all: bureaucracy.
Assisted by an overenthusiastic filing assistant, a senior clerk on the verge of retirement-induced collapse, and a deeply judgmental pigeon, Bastion must navigate runaway forms, rebellious archives, and a mystery that threatens the legitimacy of every royal appointment in the realm.
Because this wasn’t just a mistake.
Something vital is missing.
Someone has taken it.
And if the king finds out first… the paperwork will be the least of their problems.
The Knight of Unfiled Forms is a witty, cozy fantasy full of absurd bureaucracy, gentle heroism, and the quiet courage of doing the right thing—one form at a time.
Perfect for readers who enjoy:
-
Humorous fantasy with heart
-
Bureaucratic chaos and accidental heroes
-
Terry Pratchett–style wit and warmth
-
Cozy adventures with clever worldbuilding
Prepare yourself for misplaced decrees, argumentative shelves, and the bravest knight the filing system never intended to create.
