A Knight on the Haunted Hunt
The Time Bureau Files: Book Three
Three thousand years before the fall of civilization, the future's last survivors continue their desperate search for a way to save a world that has not yet been lost.
Dr. Kellyn Windstream has finally reached Aetherholt, homeland of her ancient ancestors. Somewhere within its endless forests are the family she has only known through history, the companions scattered when time itself cast them across Vaelthara, and the man she refuses to give up searching for.
But Aetherholt is already dying.
Years earlier, the noble House Windstream was nearly destroyed in a devastating assault by the undead. Only three survivors remain, while an ancient vampire carries away a fate far worse than death. As humanity rises to challenge the elder races and forgotten powers awaken beneath the forests, Kellyn discovers that legends she once dismissed as myth are terrifyingly real.
Then an impossible quest begins.
To save Aetherholt, Harvey Oakenstride must claim the legendary Horn of the Wild Hunt, enter a forest from which no one has ever returned alive, and confront a god imprisoned since the dawn of history. Failure means the destruction of an entire civilization.
Success may prove even more dangerous.
When the battle is over, the invaders are gone. The dead cover the forest.
No one remembers how they won.
Epic fantasy blending ancient magic, dragons, griffyn riders, forgotten gods, undead legions, and time travel, A Knight on the Haunted Hunt continues The Time Bureau Files with a story of family, sacrifice, mystery, and the terrible price of forgotten victories.
