French philosopher Gaston Bachelard explored the nature of time, in the context of an argument amongst philosophers, in two books - Intuition of The Instant, and The Dialectic of Duration.

In The Kiss Reverberant, Frank Prem interprets Bachelard's explorations of the poetic element time, decanting the vivid imagery contained within the philosopher's work into new and accessible free verse poetic storytelling forms, bringing each story to life.
