Gandhi slept naked with teenage girls.
John Lennon abused his son.
Rousseau wrote the most influential book on education—then abandoned all five of his children.
We worship these people. We hang their quotes on our walls. We try to live like them.
But what if everything you believed about your heroes was wrong?
KILL YOUR GURUS takes you on an uncomfortable journey through the private lives of 32 historical giants—geniuses, saints, artists, and visionaries—and reveals what the biographies leave out.
You'll discover:
- Why the smartest people made the dumbest choices
- Why achievement never filled their inner emptiness
- Why moral authority figures lived double lives
- Why those who preached love destroyed the people closest to them
This isn't gossip. This isn't cynicism. This is liberation.
Because here's the truth no one tells you:
There are no perfect adults. There never were.
The mentor who will save you doesn't exist. The role model with all the answers is a myth. The guru you're searching for is just another broken human—like you.
And that's the best news you'll ever hear.
Because once your idols fall, you can finally stop trying to be them. You can stop measuring yourself against impossible standards. You can stop waiting for someone else's permission to live your life.
There are no adults.
But there is you.
And that is enough.
