“The connection between Old and New Testaments of Holy Scripture is intriguing. Some see no obvious connection and thus miss the spiritual strength that comes to those who experience its discovery. Old Testament prophecy of a Messiah and New Testament fulfilment of that prophecy in the person of Jesus are obviously connected in certain scriptural references but more nearly camouflaged in many others. In his book, Jesus Cover to Cover, Phil Rigdon provides interesting observations about more frequent yet often overlooked revelations of Jesus in Old Testament narrative. You’ll appreciate Phil’s Spirit-led insights.” —Rev. Dr. Gerald B. Kieschnick, President Emeritus, The Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod

“Delightfully didactic, these daily devotions traverse the Old Testament and direct you to Jesus. You won’t regret adding this to your devotional life!” —Rev. Michael W. Meyer, Manager, Disaster Response Office of National Mission, The Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod

“Pastor Rigdon has a unique way of bringing subtle truths and deeper contexts of scripture to light in a way that is easy to read and understand. Each passage goes deeper into how God has had a plan that has included Jesus’ work from the beginning, and how He has woven a beautiful tapestry to help us understand His love for us, preparing us for eternity in heaven with Him. Thank you for the beautiful reminders of His love!” —Nancy Eisenmann, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Mental Health Therapist at Peace Counseling Group

“This book is like a walk down the Emmaus Road, where our Lord opened the eyes of his disciples to see that He is the fullness and fulfilment of the Scriptures of Israel. Each devotion looks through the prism of Christ and His work to see the OT stories in a new light. Beginning in Genesis, we see the Good News of the Messiah foreshadowed. These devotions will guide you to and through the rich treasures of the OT in a fresh, Gospel-centered way." —Rev. Chad Bird
