[1]-183 pp. + [2]pp. index, + printer's colophon page; illustrated with reproductions of black & white historical photographs, reproductions of manuscript pages of poems, early publications, etc. The text is in Czech. In a specially made, design bookbinding, which features full, dark brown, smooth-surfaced leather, with a lighter brown leather onlay label on the spine, with the author's name stamped in gold, and the title in green metallic foil; the front cover has a leather onlay form, suggesting a tree trunk, with blind-tooling, and other forms in gold, with details in blue and green metallic foils, these are animals, plant forms, and a man with a wide-brimmed hat, etc., top-edge gilt, headbands, and with pastel tan marbled paper endpapers, extra flyleaves. In a sturdy, hand-crafted slipcase with dark brown leather edges, lighter brown leather facing to the front edges, and gray, textured cloth on the sides, the interior is lined with white felt.
