Descripción del artículo del vendedor

"If, after a dispassionate survey, the conclusion is reached that Jew and Gentile are inherently incapable of resolving their differences, then race suicide for the Jews, as the smaller group, becomes logically the only way of escape from a hostile world. It is to disprove the necessity for [such a thing] that this study has been undertaken." - pages 9-10. "Let no one be stopped from reading this book because of its stupid and flippant title, for it is an excellent contribution to a subject that has become, with the formation of a 'National Jewish Home' in Palestine under the 'protection' of British Imperialism, a matter for deeper study by us." - Labour Monthly, June, 1935. Chapters include: Do We Hate The Jews?; The Case For Anti-Semitism; The Failure of Assimilation; Zionism; and more. "George Sacks was a prominent left-wing Anglo-African journalist. In this trenchant interwar book, in a socialist perspective, he related a general rise in European and American anti-Semitism to the international economic depression. The obvious parallels of racial intolerance in Germany and South Africa give the book a kind of subtext. He was married to Betty Radford, editor of the Cape Town Guardian and one of the first (1943) popularly elected Communist politicians in the city." - John V. Fleming in 'The Travails of a Fellow-Traveler". [8]-223 pp. Library ink stamp with bits of writing upon title page, otherwise clean, tight and unmarked with light wear to original red cloth boldly lettered in black upon backstrip. No dust jacket. A sound vintage example of this Nazi-era study.; 12mo.
