Acerca de los autores: S. G. Ponnambalam has a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering form Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India. He is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering at University Malaysia Pahang. Earlier he served as a full Professor at Monash University Malaysia. He is teaching courses in the areas of mechatronics, manufacturing, and manufacturing management, and he is supervising a number of doc students in the area of manufacturing automation and swarm robotics. He is serving as Associate Editor and as editorial board member for many international journals. He has over 300 articles published in various referred journals, refereed conferences and chapters in edited books. His articles are published in different peer reviewed journals those include International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Production Planning and Control, Robotics and Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Evolutionary Optimization, Journal of Cleaner Production, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Expert Systems with Applications, IEEE Transaction on Cybernetics and Journal of Material Processing Technology.

Nachiappan (Nachi) Subramanian is a Reader in Operations and Logistics Management at University of Sussex. Nachi is a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy, UK and Charted member of Institute of Logistics and Transport. Previously, Nachi worked at University of Nottingham Ningbo, China for five years and at Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, India for twelve years. Nachi has 17 years of academic experience and 2 years of industrial experience. He has post-doctoral research experience at University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, RMIT University Melbourne, Australia and Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, India. He has received several research fellowship awards including BOYSCAST fellowship, Career award and Young Scientist fellowship award from Indian government agencies as well as Australian Endeavour Research Fellowship Award. His research works centres on novel research topics in logistics and supply chain management such as sustainability, risk and innovation and these topics are within our University priority research areas. Nachi is the principal investigator for two major research projects under the sustainable business model development theme of Innovation team project at UNNC. Nachi has published over 65 refereed research papers in leading operations and supply chain management journals. He also serves as a reviewer to many leading journals and has organised internationals conferences.
