It is formatted into sections so that it can be used for a variety of courses, such as electrical motors, sensors, variable speed drives, programmable logic controllers, servomechanisms, and various instrumentation and process classes. This book also offers readers a broader coverage of industrial maintenance and automation information than other books and provides them with a more extensive collection of supplements, including a lab manual and two hundred animated multimedia lessons on a CD.

Acerca del autor: Terry Bartelt is currently an Electromechanical Instructor at Fox Valley Technical College, with more than twenty five years teaching experience in the field. He was a National Science Foundation (NSF) Recipient for Process Control in 1997 and received another NSF grant in 2005 to develop multimedia materials covering industrial automation related topics. In addition, Mr. Bartelt's Electromechanical Technology Program was presented the Secretary of Education Award as one of the top ten community college programs in the country.
