Implementation of low-cost intelligent automation through continuous improvement

Cost pressures on businesses have risen dramatically in recent years. Methods such as the continuous improvement process, 5S, SMED and others have been introduced and further developed to improve manufacturing processes. This has led to many successes. However, limitations have also been identified. These can be overcome by expanding the scope of other methods. This book examines the integration of the continuous improvement process with the Low Cost Intelligent Automation method to further drive process improvement.
