An overview of 20th-century commercial and residential interior design as it is presented in renderings, drawing, sketches and CAD depictions. Through the work of well-known designers the communication techniques and design approaches to a wide variety of project types from all residential rooms to offices, lobbies, hotels, restaurants, retail stores, museums, schools and institutional facilities are shown. Illustrations are accompanied by discussion of the context of the design, its style and intentions and the execution technique. The book features work from the United States, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.
