Acerca de los autores:
J. R. McNeill is Distinguished University Professor at Georgetown University. The author of award-winning works in world and environmental history, he has served as president of the American Society for Environmental History and the American Historical Association. He lives in Maryland.
William H. McNeill (1917―2016) was emeritus professor of history at the University of Chicago. He is best known for The Rise of the West which won the National Book Award for history and biography in 1963.
