Join a thrilling journey into the heart of New York City in 2048, where the skyline glows with the promise of a fair society unlike anything the world has ever seen. Dogs are citizens, revealing a world where their wisdom, skills, and even magical powers have become an important part of our daily life.
In this wonderful place, not everyone welcomes our new equality.
Amidst the glittering skyscrapers and bustling streets, a sinister plot unfolds. Hope, a twelve-year-old girl with the amazing ability to communicate telepathically with dogs, discovers a plot that threatens to shatter the delicate balance of this dog-inclusive existence.
Her best friend is Keely, an American Bulldog, whose loyalty and magical powers know no bounds.
Together, they stumble upon a secret laboratory that's determined to steal the unique genetic code that grants dogs their magical powers. The diabolical plan is to give these extraordinary gifts solely to humans, leaving our special dogs powerless.
As the clock ticks down and the city's fate hangs in the balance, Hope and Keely must navigate a world of danger and deception. Racing against time, they embark on a pulse-pounding adventure, uncovering secrets that will test their friendship, resilience, and the very meaning of living in this fantastical future.
Join Hope, Keely, and their friends on an electrifying quest where the bond between a girl and her dog transcends the ordinary, and our fate rests in their paws.
Prepare for a tale filled with excitement, adventure, and the unbreakable spirit of friendship in a world where the extraordinary is just a bark away. Will Hope and Keely stop the sinister plot to rob dogs of their magical abilities, or will the mad scientist cause society to fall into chaos?

Acerca del autor
Chris King is a Leeds-based illustrator with an impactful figurative style based on strong line work and the comic art that influenced his early career. Innovating with color and line weight, he's broadened his style to include elegant and atmospheric landscape imagery, using narrative in his images to give his client's message extra resonance with the audience.
From portraits to guide maps, and from spot imagery to front covers, Li Zhang's unique conceptual approach makes her a very popular choice for clients in publishing and advertising. They love the way she quickly understands a brief and finds the right visual language for the project, as well as her professionalism and creativity.Originally from Jiangsu Province in China, today Li is based in New York. Drawing on a whole range of influences from pop artists like David Hockney through to traditional Chinese painting, she has forged her own individual approach to painting and loves experimenting with perspective and geometry. Li enjoys a challenging brief with unexpected elements to it. With a degree in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology, before devoting herself to illustration Li also trained as an engineer. Other influences include poetry, science fiction and architecture.

Descripción de la tienda
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
