Acerca del autor
Niall W.R. Scott is reader in philosophy and popular culture at the University of Central Lancashire.
Esther Clinton taught in the department of popular culture at Bowling Green State University for 16 years on topics ranging from traditional narrative to popular novels to advanced cultural theory. Esther's tragic, untimely death at age 50 cut short her exploration of these topics, but her many students carry on her legacy.
Charles Scribner III received his PhD from Princeton University, where he taught Baroque Art before pursuing a publishing career at Scribner. He is the author of monographs on Rubens (1989) and Bernini (1991), a book on Rubens's Eucharist Tapestries (1983), two spiritual journals-The Shadow of God (2006) and Home By Another Route (2016)- and numerous articles on art, music, and literature. Karl Spracklen is Professor of leisure studies at Leeds Metropolitan University. He teaches leisure theory, popular culture; philosophy and sociology of sports science, as well as research methods and dissertation support, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, across the School. He has published widely in the area of leisure studies with works including "Leisure, Sport and Society" (2013), "Whiteness and Leisure" (2013), "Constructing Leisure, Historical and Philosophical Debates" (2011) and "Habermas and the Meaning of Leisure" (2009) all with Palgrave Macmillan.
