If you would like your child(ren) to:
⁃ Treat others kindly
- Make lasting friendships
⁃ Manage their anger
⁃ Not give up when things get tough
⁃ Empathise with others
⁃ Share their toys and other things
⁃ Deal well with anxiety
then this book is for you!
Did you know that research indicates that social and emotional intelligence - SQ and EQ - are better predictors of life success than IQ?
This programme will help you develop both these vital intelligences in your child.
Available for the first time to the wider public is this highly successful programme for bringing up young children, developed and tested in schools and households on three continents.
Through this complete series of 21 charming stories, the main characters - Freddie and his friends - use empathy, kindness, honesty, mindfulness, resilience and other qualities of heart to get them through life’s problems.
As well as building such positive qualities, the stories also directly deal with anger management, self regulation and conquering anxiety.
Bonus material
As well as the delight and messaging of the 21 stories, you will get:
⁃ Detailed instructions on how to practice kindness with your child, spreading this wonderful quality from themselves to their loved ones, and out to the wider world
⁃ A suggestion to your child from Freddie at the end of each story about how they can put the story’s main lesson into practice
At the start of each of the stories is also a short ‘Grownups’ Note’, letting you know which qualities that story particularly focuses on.
Perfect for bedtime reading, the stories and activities can also be done at any quiet time during the day.
You will find the stories and the little assignments help deepen your relationship with your child, and their relationship with everyone else around them. As one parent wrote in her ‘Parent Feedback’ at school:
‘Freddie has changed all our lives!’
The earlier your child starts developing kindness - and indeed all such wonderful qualities - the more successfully they will learn them.

About the Author
Educator and mentor Paul Vincent Cable has created programmes for children around the world teaching kindness, empathy, mindfulness, anger management, resilience and many other aspects of social and emotional intelligence. For more than two decades, he has worked with children from a very wide array of backgrounds - to those of hedge fund owners and movie stars, of middle-class professionals, as well as in some of the biggest slums and inner city ghettos. As 'Mr Paul' (as he is known to his pupils) discovered, the principles of humanity are universal across all social, economic, ethnic and racial backgrounds.
As a parent, using these same principles, he mentored his own son Ayrton to multi-award-winning social activist success. Ayrton introduced a Bill to the UK Parliament aged 9.
Paul is a long-time advocate of having 100 hours of training in wise and compassionate living as a foundational part of every child’s upbringing.

Descripción de la tienda
In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
