Book condition: very good, very scarce with dust jacket, "a great white house - Crummit's bank they called it - set high upon a bluff overlooking the muddy Mississippi. and rumor had it that its owner, the miserly Athiel Haga, had hidden somewhere a hundred thousand dollars in Greenbacks." and so the mystery unfolds, yellow/brown dust jacket shows .5" chip off top along with a smaller chip, one inch chip off spine head, smaller chips off spine tail, all corners, front edges and back top, light to moderate soiling to all surfaces, backed with archival paper, mylar cover, black cloth boards feature red and gold design on front and spine and are in excellent condition with one small scuff off top right corner, a few pencil marks on front pastedown otherwise interior very clean, binding tight, 311 pages, 5.25 X 7.5 inches.
