Title Page Printed in Red & Black, dated 1867. Dr Eadie's Preface, xv pages, is followed by Coloured Maps of the World and the Middle East. Text arranged in Double Columns, with copious Footnotes and References in Inner Margins. Beautifully Illustrated throughout with many Full-Page Plates Plates and Coloured Maps. showing Natural History, Scenes from the Holy Land, Biblical Scenes, Coins etc. The New Testament has it's own Title Page. After the Old Testament and the New Testament come a Chronological Index; 13" Tall, 5 Kilos. Some edge wear to leather and a few small scrapes (see photo). Splits to leather all down right side of spine and halfway down left side, Hinges cracked and reinforced with hinge tape. No inscriptions. A little light marginal foxing to plates and some pages.
