40pp, illustrations, brown card covers. In fine condition. In 1939 Highgate School was evacuated to Devon, the senior school to Westward Ho! and the junior school to Hartland Abbey. This well written & informative guide to the towns & villages in the district was compiled by members of the School s Archaeological Society. I particularly specialise in Bradshaw's guides & official publicity of the British railway companies.
