Six volume set. Volumes 1 - 5 are edited by Maitland. Volume 6 is the American Supplement edited by Waldo Selden Pratt. Red cloth with blindstamped emblem to front and gilt titling to spine, frontispieces with tissue guards, several black and white plates in each volume, (804, 794, 863, 808, 672 and 412 pages). Light edge and shelf wear, volume 4 shows several spots of discoloration to cover, volume 6 has a light bump to bottom free corner of front and a black dot to the bottom of front cover, volume 1 to 5 have some light rippling to bottom of textblock - volume 1+2 show very minor damp staining and volume 3 shows some damp staining. A wonderful set any music lover would appreciate. This is an overweight set. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg. A small table with chairs sits in front of the children's book section. It is a store with many nooks, a niche for everyone.
