Greg's Gecko, Kai, has never been to the ocean even though they live in Hawaii! Determined to take his beloved pet on an ocean adventure, Greg comes up with a creative way to show the undersea world to Kai in this early speech sound series book from Phonological and Articulation Children's Books.
Not only does this book work on K and G sounds, but it also provides children with early prediction and problem-solving practice within the story.
Created by a Speech-Language Pathologist, this book is filled with over 140 opportunities to hear or practice K and G sounds. As with all of the Speech Sound Series books, it includes a "Helpful Tips for Parents" page with easy to use speech and literacy tricks for developing minds! This makes a wonderful gift for any preschool, kindergarten, or first-grade teacher, speech therapist, or young child.

Acerca del autor
Cass Kim, M.A. CCC-SLP earned her master's in Speech-Language Pathology from Central Michigan University. She is currently a full time author, editor, and sees a select few clients weekly through Ohana Therapy Clinic, a private practice. Combining her need for therapy resources with her love of writing, Cass has created a series of books that could be wonderful in schools, in therapy, and especially at home with parents that want the very best for their kids. Speech is an important part of communication, and the frustration that comes with difficulty communicating is familiar to Cass. With the need for increased home resources for speech development and home practice with the community wide changes due to COVID-19, Cass set out to make an approachable, fun, sound-specific way to help families. This book series and the accompanying website is designed to provide much needed clear, easy to access resources for parents to keep speech development and practice in the home fun and fresh.
