Condition Report Externally Spine good condition black title text on a paper label, bruised top and tail, sun faded. Joints good condition gently rubbed and worn. Corners good condition bumped and worn with some of the corners turning in. Boards good condition full cloth boards, faded by the sun in places, the upper board has some marks. Page edges good condition top edge darkened, all tanned and foxed. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition paper has cracked down the front hinge but both are intact and solid. Paste downs good condition plain, there is a small book sellers label pasted to the centre of the front paste down, tanned and foxed. End papers good condition plain, the front end paper is missing, rear is tanned and foxed. Title good condition tanned and foxed. Pages good condition half title present, full colour frontispiece which has the original tissue guard, there are some b/w illustrations within the text, lightly tanned throughout with some foxing.
