Kay Thomann, an Iowa grandmother, loves to present stories with uplifting and encouraging messages for children and their parents to share. This delighted, illustrated children's book helps young children understand the concept of diversity, by explaining how the individual grandmothers possess unique traits, quirks and characteristics. Each page shows the distinctive personalities and physical attributes of the different grandmas through colorful, lively pictures and scenes, helping children understand that no two grandmothers are exactly alike. In the end, the book allows the reader to realize something special: even though their grandmas may look, act or live differently, they all share one special thing in common - they love their grandchildren in their own wonderful ways!
