Welcome to the ultimate tour.
The United States of America is no longer a superpower. It is no longer a country. It is a quarantine zone-a silent, radioactive graveyard fenced off from the rest of the stable, prosperous world.
For twenty years, the borders have been sealed, the history buried under dust and silence. But now, the World Organization has authorized the first-ever "Heritage Tour."
Enter Hank Fredo. A seventy-year-old expatriate writer with a biting wit, a suitcase full of regrets, and a liver full of scotch. He is one of the "lucky" few selected to board the armored luxury bus for the inaugural journey back into the abyss.
Alongside a motley crew of influencers hunting for the perfect tragic aesthetic, wealthy bankers studying economic collapse, and families looking for a history lesson, Hank returns to the land he once called home. From the melted ruins of the capital to the starving silence of the heartland, and finally to the walled-off tomb of the West Coast, Hank is there to document the autopsy of an empire that ate itself alive.
But as the bus rolls through the ashes of the 21st century, Hank realizes this isn't just a tour of the past. It is a warning for the future.
Part biting satire, part dystopian nightmare, Goodbye USA is a savage and heartbreaking journey through the ruins of the American Dream.
