Of Good Courage is an award-winning, powerful, sweeping story of Trong Van Cao, a man born into poverty in war-ravaged Vietnam. Bullied for his small stature and eventually left homeless, Trong faced unimaginable challenges. Yet a still small voice within him--a quiet, guiding hand of God--led him on a miraculous escape, alone in a boat on the South China Sea during Operation Frequent Wind. This whisper of grace would follow him throughout his life.

After being sent to the Philippines and later to Guam, Trong lied about his age to avoid a life of hard labor, landing in an orphanage and eventually a foster home where he pursued education. Through grit, determination, and divine guidance, Trong navigated a path riddled with hardships--gangs, a stint in a mental hospital, and three failed marriages. He achieved wealth and prestige, but it wasn't until his heart and kidneys failed, stripping away everything, that he finally listened to God's persistent call.

In his dark moments, through prayer and the support of his church, Trong discovered the family he had longed for, embraced God's purpose for his life, and found peace for the war within his soul.

This isn't just a story of Trong's journey of faith; it's a testament to God's unwavering faithfulness in seeking out one of His lost sheep and bringing him home. For those who feel abandoned, hopeless, or unheard, Of Good Courage offers a message of hope, faith, and the peace found in God's relentless love.
