God Notes: Daily Doses Of Divine Encouragement

About God Notes

When you lay your head on your pillow at night, do you feel that you never get enough done? Or worse, do you feel that YOU aren’t enough? The outside stressors of life can cause fear, anxiety, and worry. It’s easy to feel discouraged. If religion has caused you to have a distorted view of God, one of an authoritative figure who is up there out there, judging you and displeased with you, then you’ll add guilt, shame, condemnation, and unworthiness to that internal chatter.

Let go of those disempowering thoughts and reclaim who and Whose you are. You are more than enough. You are the Beloved, in whom God is well pleased. These God Notes are daily doses of divine encouragement, your prescription to remember who and Whose you are so that you can live your life with joy, peace, and confidence.

Editorial Reviews

“This is not another religious book filled with tired phrases about an angry, disapproving God. It is a book about a grace so powerful that it threatens to overwhelm you. As you read God Notes, you will be convinced of one all-important truth: you are loved. What else is there?” —Jeff Goins, bestselling author of The Art of Work

"Bearing the hallmark of authentic inspiration, God Notes not only depicts the author’s experience but more importantly provides a portal through which the reader may experience the Divine as well. Fashioned to be a source of daily nurture, one can easily be drawn to read chapters in one sitting. As we let these words touch us, we notice that our breathing slows, our hearts smile and our spirits glow with ancient truth. Like a treasured hymn, we find ourselves humming along knowing once again that God loves and delights in us intimately each day of our lives. Thank you, Jackie, for sharing this gift with us!" —Clarence Heller, spiritual director, retreat leader and author of Everyday Sacred: Meditations and Paintings to Inspire Reflection and Prayer.
