God Made Me in His Image is a beautifully illustrated children’s book that helps kids understand their bodies as good gifts from God, created with purpose, dignity, and care.

Through a lively zoo safari adventure, Justin and Lindsey Holcomb invite children to explore the amazing variety of animal bodies while also reflecting on what makes human beings uniquely special. As students learn about lions, elephants, rhinoceroses, and other animals, they are guided to see that just as each creature is wonderfully made, their own bodies have been thoughtfully designed by God.

Part of the God Made Me series, this book helps young children think about body image through the lens of the doctrine of creation, offering a Christian perspective that is both clear and reassuring. With colorful illustrations and helpful notes for parents and caregivers in the back, it provides families with a practical, grace-filled way to start important conversations about bodies, identity, and how God’s truth shapes the way we think and feel about ourselves.
