Original red cloth, bibliography, index, 443 pp, illustrated with black and white photographs and maps (all present, including the nice color 10x12 inch fold-out map of South America by L L Poates) . Hardcover, very good+ to near fine, no dustjacket. Corners bumped, spine slightly faded with a few approximately 1/8 to 1/4 inch nicks at head and foot. Internally, previous owner's signature, touch of foxing on endpapers, 1/4 inch chip on side edge of fold-out, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked; probably never really read.
