This Seventh Edition incorporates the four Domains from the Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor Job Task Analysis 2013 while integrating the Domains with the 12 Core Functions of the Substance Abuse Counselor and the Performance Domains of TAP 21. The discussion of the four Domains is new to this Seventh Edition. This Seventh Edition continues to include instructor lesson plans and student quizzes. It is designed to assist instructors in preparing students seeking certification as alcohol and other drug abuse counselors. It is in accord with the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (ICRC) standards.
