Howe was also Chairman of the Department of Architecture at Yale. With selections from Howe's diaries. Not as dreary as the subtitle would suggest. First edition. 8vo; 114 pp.; illustrated from photographs. Inscribed by author, and with author's inked correction to p. 3. A fine copy in original red and white cloth, published without a dust jacket.
