8vo, 2 leaves (half-title and title), pp. xvi, 168. Contemporary marbled boards, sometime rebacked with plain paper and endpapers replaced, uncut edges. Boards worn but internally a very clean copy. Inscribed on a binder?s leaf before the half-title: ?With the authors best wishes.? SOLE EDITION. Ferris, admitted a Licentiate of the College of Physicians in 1785, published this work as an objection to the methods adopted by the College for the examination of physicians for admission.
