Neuware - 'Garden-Making' by Elsa Rehmann is a comprehensive guide to the art and science of landscape design. This influential work explores the delicate balance between nature and artistry, offering timeless principles for creating harmonious outdoor environments. Rehmann, a pioneering landscape architect, delves into various aspects of garden composition, including the use of color, texture, and structural form. The book provides practical insights into site planning, the selection of plant materials, and the integration of architectural features within the natural landscape.Through detailed analysis and thoughtful reflection, Rehmann emphasizes the importance of a unified vision in garden design. Whether discussing intimate small gardens or expansive estates, the author highlights how the thoughtful arrangement of plants and pathways can transform a simple plot of land into a sanctuary of beauty and tranquility. This work remains a valuable resource for both amateur gardeners and professional designers seeking to understand the foundational elements of classical landscape architecture and the aesthetic possibilities of the garden. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
