Paperback. Some stories are born from vertigo and others emerge from silence, but this one began at the precise point wherethe two meet, in that invisible territory where dream and reality exchange masks without the reader ever quite realizingat what moment the boundary has been crossed. The Fugitive from the Train is not merely the story of a young engineerfacing a criminal intelligence that exceeds the limits of technology, but the metaphor of a humanity racing at fullspeed along rails of its own making, trusting that there will always be a hand capable of holding the helm when the system fails, even while sensing, deep down, that perhaps the system is not failing at all, but evolving. From the scorching plains of Maracaibo to the southern deserts of Santiago, Chile, crossing mountain ranges that resemble the spinal columns of the planet, this imagined railway journey binds geographies, cultures, and collective memories into a single continuous line, as though South America were a vast electrical circuit in which each nation represents an indispensable node within a greater network.
