French Talk Two Bk 2

This is a programme designed for years 1-3 in secondary schools, and it provides pupils with listening and reading comprehension material for the learning of simple French. Each topic is divided into three sections. In the first, the pupil has the use of illustrated material and an accompanying audio-cassette, much of which was recorded in France and which covers everyday situations. Topics covered include authentic, unscripted speech delivered spontaneously at normal speed. A "things to do" section further develops the phrases and vocabulary introduced, sometimes using the cassette to help extend the pupil's listening comprehension. This is followed by a "hear and say" section which helps the pupils to consolidate and practise all the phrases and vocabulary covered. The author has also written "French from France", "Know-How in France" and "Know-How in Spanish".
