The war for Lisona did not end with freedom.
It only changed its shape.
Empress Aundrea believed breaking Ravon's hold would end the darkness threatening her world. Instead, it bound her to an ancient blood oath-one forged in desperation, shadow, and sacrifice. An oath that chained her Divine Light and altered the course of destiny itself.
As fractures begin to tear through reality and prophecy starts to unravel, Aundrea is forced to confront the cost of power and the weight of the choices she made to protect those she loves. Her once-unbound Light becomes a liability, restrained by forces older than kings and more dangerous than war. With enemies rising from both mortal and ancient realms, the line between protector and destroyer begins to blur.
Ancient magic stirs beneath Lisona's surface as long-buried truths emerge-truths that challenge everything Aundrea thought she understood about loyalty, fate, and free will. Power is no longer defined by crowns or bloodlines alone, but by the willingness to endure what others cannot. In a world governed by prophecy, even salvation demands a price.
Drakon stands at her side, torn between love, duty, and the burden of a crown forged in fire and legacy. His devotion is unwavering, yet the growing cost of the oath threatens to pull them in opposite directions. And in the shadows, Ravon remains bound to Aundrea by the very vow meant to save Lisona-a presence neither fully enemy nor ally, but something far more dangerous.
As alliances fracture and the truth behind the oath comes into focus, Aundrea must decide how much of herself she is willing to sacrifice to hold the world together. Each choice tightens the chain. Each revelation draws Lisona closer to ruin. What was meant to protect the realm may instead become the force that destroys it.
The Oath That Chained the Light is the second book in the Free Lisona series-an epic fantasy romance of dragons, prophecy, and forbidden bonds, where love is tested by shadow, blood, and fate itself.
