Traduction de Nathalie Gara. Rarissime édition originale dans état général juste correct.Ce livre est la mise en roman du film du même nom, réalisé par Fred McLeod Wilcox en 1956. Le scénario de Cyril Hume, sur un sujet d'Irving Block et Allen Adler, s'inspire librement de " La Tempête ", la dernière tragédie de William Shakespeare, dont il constitue une transposition dans le genre du Space-Opéra. La conception du robot est due à Robert Kinoshita. On trouve dans les rôles principaux : Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, Leslie Nielsen, Warren Stevens, Jack Kelly, Richard Anderson, Earl Holliman, James Drury, George D. Wallace,Frankie Darro et Frankie Carpenter.En 2013, le film est sélectionné par le National Film Registry de la Bibliothèque du Congrès américain pour y être conservé, comme étant culturellement, historiquement ou esthétiquement important. Planète interdite est l'un des premiers films de science-fiction ayant bénéficié de la couleur et du format cinémascope. The spine remains free of creasing. The cover is in good shape, but it has some shelf and edge wear, some creasing, a "50" written in silver marker on the back, and some residue leftover from a sticker. Most of the pages are clean and unmarked, but the previous owner blacked out all the curse words throughout the text. There are some pages that are creased, and there is some minor tanning around the edges of the pages. Otherwise, this copy is in great condition.
