Descripción del artículo del vendedor

This must have been quite a brave book when it was released in 1922, given the Judeo-Christian understanding of the (PRE-television) world. (Part of a 3 book series for young readers.) Words like Wind, Sun, Ocean, and Mother Nature are all capitalized throughout the text. 293 pages of fictionalized human history , B/W drawings accompany text - I especially like the one of a dug-out canoe on page 137. Or - hooking fruit on page 57. I think the book takes liberties with time of tool development, but it none-the less is a fun exploration. Cond : Boards are light brown with black lettering.
