Descripción del artículo del vendedor

A few long, but faint scratches mark the glossy front board which do not appear in the photographs. The upper and lower board corners have extremely minor exposed paper. There is a small dent on the front and back edges of the spine and the minor appearance of creasing from opening. The interior pages are clean with no markings. It appears the book has hardly been opened. The original slipcase is absent. Please see all photos. We only ship to USA addresses. Outside U.S. buyers will need to arrange a forwarding company. The finished book is compiled from motion picture footage of the Academy Award® nominee for Best Documentary Feature. The film was a tribute to the pioneering volcanologists Katia and Maurice Krafft, celebrating their lives and contributions to the scientific study of volcanoes. The large-format book is distinguished by its top-tier printing methods of high-quality full-page, full color images, with a reflective foil board title spread and contrasting matte red title stamp —conjuring the space-age protective gear worn by Katia and Maurice Krafft. The captivating coffee table book beautifully captures the Kraffts’ deep affection for each other and their profound connection to the natural world using stunning imagery carefully selected from their remarkable archive. The Special Edition book is hand-numbered 100 of 300.…

Descripción de la tienda

Located on the big island of Hawaii, Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.) is a non-profit 501(c))3) organization. Our mission is to strengthen the Kailua-Kona and Kealakekua communities by enhancing library services and programs to improve literacy. Only 38% of elementary students in our community read at grade level. FOLK is working to change that by funding literacy programs and presentations that complement what children learn in the classroom. Every book purchased on this site helps support these efforts at our two libraries. We hold monthly book sales events, and this store is where we offer our high value books.…
