PHILLIP- Damn. My nigga going to ATL.
DREW- I know, I know man. I don't wanna leave the squad out here eitha.
PHILLIP- I'ma miss you dawg. I ain't even gone lie. You been like my lil brotha man.
DREW- Come on nigga. I'm still lil bro. We gone keep in touch. This won't be the last time you see ah nigga.
PHILLIP- Bet that nigga. What time y'all leaven?
DREW- Shidd in about 20 minutes.
PHILLIP- Damn. This some b.s yo.
DREW- I know Phil. Wish I had a choice. (Phone rings) Hello?......Iight, i'm on the way......Iight ma, I hear you. (Hangs up) I gotta get going yo.
PHILLIP- You about to ride to ATL?
DREW-Yeah man.
PHILLIP- Damn..(Shacking his head) Iight man. Hold it down my nigga. (Get's up and daps Drew)
DREW- Iight nigga. You do the same yo.
PHILLIP- You know me.
DREW- Let up off them streets some nigga. Love you yo.
PHILLIP- Love you too lil bro. Hold it down man.
DREW- I got'chu. (Pulls off)
And there I was. On the way home to meet up with my mom then be on our way to ATL. I'm Andrew Johnson a 18 year old mannish thug nigga standing 6'01. Brown skin with the low fade and the body of a athlete. Brown eyes that made all the hoes go crazy.
I was moving from South Carolina to begin my new life. I had been getting in some trouble in the streets and at school and my dad had been dating this woman in ATL for a year. She's a real nice lady from what I gathered about her. I could tell she wanted the best for me and my dad. I don't really know her back ground like that though. They both felt like it would be good for me to get a new start.
Out of all the people back home I would miss, I will have to say that I will miss Phillip the most. That's been my best friend since the first grade. I can't believe my dad would even part us like that. Now I had nothing, but memories of when we would stay the night at each other's house when we were little. Memories of all the b***hes we f***ked together. All of that was being taken from me.
The life that I was leaving behind was coming to a screeching end. This is the beginning of my new life in ATL.
Chapter Two
I pulled up to the house as my dad was loading up the truck with the last box. Everything was packed and I was just following him the whole way to ATL. It was the only way my car could get there and I wouldn't have it any other way. I had my weed, my cigarettes and my pastor troy so I was ready for this road trip. I know I got myself into some trouble but this was just cruel and unusual punishment. I never thought that I would be the kid moving and leaving behind all my friends. My dad just had to come and f***k with me. He knew I didn't want to move and I damn sure didn't want to be bothered.
PAUL- You all ready to go?
DREW- To be honest wit'chu, no! I'm not. I don't know why I gotta give up my life for you.
PAUL- Cause you my son and I say you coming to ATL. You can't stay in school here, it's to the point you got the cops picking on you. Ain't no way you gone make it out here.
DREW- I been making it this far though pop.
PAUL- And luck runs out.
DREW- (Start to speak)
PAUL- Nooo shut up. Don't tell me nothing. Drew I am your father and I know what's best for you.
DREW- Wow dad. Really? That ol 1976 TV line? Come on man.
PAUL- When ya 19 you can move out an come back to South Carolina and rot in jail if you want to. But long as you 18 and I got custody of yo ass you gone be right in Atlanta.
DREW- Iight pop. Whateva yo. Can we go?
PAUL- Keep behind me and keep up.
DREW- Iight yo.
We were on our way to ATL and I had two blunts already rolled. I was about to have me a little road trip party. When we were going through town I saw a couple people I use to f***k with in school when I was going. I started thinking back on what I was about to leave behind. Wondering what I was about to get myself into in the A. Only God knew what the future might bring.
I was nervous about what I was going to get my ass into because for the last four months I had been getting some kind of attraction towards dude. I would see a nigga here and be like damn he sexy. Then I would see a nigga there and be like damn he fine as s***t. I was even starting to get a little bit curious on what it would be like. I was just too paranoid about who might find out.
I drove them four hours behind my dad and had already smoked two blunts on the way to ATL. I was still feeling a bit mellow when we got there and went over to Mc. Donalds. We stopped at Mc. Donalds for a bathroom and lunch break. I had to piss like a mah'f***kah and I had the munchies like crazy.
PAUL- What you want outta here boy?
DREW- Big mac meal with two apple pies.
PAUL- Ummm hmm. That Impala looking mighty foggy over there.
DREW- Isn't that weird?
PAUL- Play with me. (Walked in Mc. Donalds)
All I had to do now was go to the bathroom and take a piss. After that we would be on our way to my dad's ol lady house. I went to the bathroom and saw this lil light skin shawty coming out with the mop bucket in her Mc. Donald's uniform. She was so fine with the perfect ass. She was thick in the legs and pretty in the face. Even had the voice of an angel.
DREW- Damn shawty. Why the rush? You ain't gotta leave up outta there yet.
TASHA- Boy move.
DREW- I mean I can move but I don't think I can stay away. You fly as hell mommy and I'm just moving here today. I was kinda regretting it but you just made it all worth it.
TASHA- (Blush) I have a boyfriend!
DREW- No disrespect cute face but'cha man ain't got s***t to do with me.
I'm tryna see what's up with you. F***k that nigga.
TASHA- Wow aren't you the charmer?
DREW- Naw but I'm 100 percent real nigga all day gorgeous, believe that.
TASHA- Is that right?
DREW- That's right, and if you give me that number I can show you a hell of a lot better then I can tell you.
TASHA- No thank you. I told you I have a man. You real cute though.
She just walked off and left me in a daze. I just watched her walk away with her hair long down her back and her ass moving from side to side. Shawty was bad and it was pretty shocking how she just passed me up over her man. I just went in the bathroom and handled my business. When I walked back in the lobby I joined my dad at a table to wait on our food.
DREW- Why you ain't go to the bathroom? Yo bladder finally worth something now a days.
PAUL- I guess so. It'll creep up on me.... So how was your visit with Phillip?
DREW- It was cool. He was pretty bummed about me leaven though.
PAUL- You know it pains me to part you boys after all y'all been through. It really do but you're my son. I have to think about what's best for you. I really want you to do right this time around son.
DREW- I coulda straighten up back home dad. I just needed time.
PAUL- Drew we have been going through this with you since the third grade. You had plenty of time to behave.
DREW- Dad there's nothing here for me. I don't know anybody.
PAUL- And what is there for you back home besides jail and a grave yard Drew?
DREW- I'm not even gonna do this wit'chu dad.
PAUL- Then don't cause ya about to get knocked outta that chair.
Tasha came walking to our table with our food on a tray in a begs. She gave me a little look then went walking back behind the counter. I was watching that ass once again. All the way to the counter. My dad was looking at me like he saw a lot of himself in me from when he was a teen.
PAUL- Don't look too hard son.
DREW- That's the best thing I seen about moving here so far.
PAUL- Son you just got here. Knowing you, you're gonna see a lot of girl you're interested in.
DREW- It don't get no better then that pop.
PAUL- Love at first site huh?
DREW- Love what's that? I'm looking at them legs pop. I'm tryna get between em.
PAUL- Boy have you lost yo mind? You don't talk about females like that.
How would you like it if somebody talked about your mama that way.
DREW- Man pop I can't chill wit you yo.
PAUL- (Laughs) You can't chill with me why not? I'm cool, I'm hip. I have swagger.
DREW- Dad stop it please. (Got our food out) PAUL- O.k. do yo ol man like that.
DREW- (Laugh) Don't ever embarrass me like that again if you care about me.
We laughed and I pulled a stack of napkins out of the bag. I saw a number wrote down on one of the napkins. I looked up behind the counter and she was giving me that look again. I just had to get up in them guts. It wouldn't be me if I didn't. I would take it as a welcome to Atlanta present.
PAUL- What's that?
DREW- None pops. Stop being so nosy.
PAUL- A number, which one is she?
DREW- Don't worry about it dad. Worry bout'cho ol lady.
PAUL- Oh playa I got that on lock.
DREW- (Laughed) Dad please stop. You not young no more pop hang it up.
PAUL- Whateva I'm going to the bathroom.
DREW- Yeah you do that.
PAUL- Don't make me embarrass you boy.
DREW- Please don't do that.
When my dad got back we just continued eating. I was still feeling a little bit pissed off about moving.
DREW- But dad can I ask you a question?
PAUL- You just did.
DREW- What's different about Atlanta's police force?
PAUL- Son what is you talking about?
DREW- You say I been getting in too much trouble in S.C so what gone keep me out of trouble here?
PAUL- My foot in yo rectum. An what's different about South Carolina's police force and this police force? This police force don't know you. This police force is not gonna plant drugs on you just because they don't like you. South Carolina's force will. That's why i'm getting you out of that.
DREW- I guess yo. It's gone be mad bored out here though pop. I don't know nobody.
PAUL- Carolin has a son your age. Y'all should get along just fine.
DREW- I hope this ain't no nerdy nigga yo.
PAUL- Stop it.
DREW- I'm serious pop. I don't need no lil nerdy nigga tryna show me how I need to be. I don't want nobody tryna guide me unless it's you.
PAUL- He's not a nerd from what I can see. He dress just like you. He play video games and stuff you teenage boys do.
DREW- Like I said I hope this ain't no nerdy nigga. And don't expect me to be all buddy, buddy wit this dude either.
PAUL- I didn't ask you to. Just respect Carolin and you'll be fine.
When we finished eating we left Mc. Donald's and I followed my dad again. I wasn't really seeing anything interesting. I saw a couple fly girls but they wasn't f***king with Tasha. We passed by the court and could see a ass of niggas playing ball surrounded by a ass of b***hes. I figured that would pass time. I was on my way to my new home and hoping that ol boy wasn't all up tight.
Chapter Three
When we got to the location I pulled in a drive way and parked right behind my dad. The crib was a two story house but the s***t wasn't like huge. Let's just say it was spacey. I looked up at the front door and I saw Ms. Carolin coming outside and down the front step. She went over to my dad's driver side window while waving at me. I threw up two fingers and cracked a small little smile that she probably couldn't even see. They talked and talk, and talked so I got tired of sitting there in that drive way when I had another perfectly rolled blunt in my ash tray just calling me. I was just still curious about what the inside of that house looked like. So I got out of my car then shut the door asking Ms. Carolin could I use their bathroom. She told me yeah giving me that you know you don't have to ask look. I went walking towards the house with my dad looking at me like keep my hands to myself. I don't know why he would think I was gonna steal something. I swear I walked in that house like I just bought the s***t. The house was pretty sweet and my type of place. Weight room and game room is all I need to see. It was nice as hell on the inside but average on the outside. I was hoping to bump into ol boy but he was nowhere around. I went to the bathroom and took a piss and saw a pair of ol boy boxers on the floor which was a turn on. Only because they were Family guy boxers which told me he had a little sense of humor.By the time I was coming out of the bathroom my dad and Ms. Carolin came walking in the front door. They was in the living room and I was down the hall walking from the bathroom. Into the living room I went and sat down on the couch.
DREW- What's up Ms. Carolin?
CAROLIN- Well what's good Drew. How are you?
She was just trying to be a smart ass, saying that's not how I greet an adult. That's why I liked her. She wasn't all up tight.
DREW- (Laughed) I'm fine. I guess.
CAROLIN- You guess? You not liken Atlanta?
DREW- Not really I woulda be right back home but captain save a thug over there won't let me.
CAROLIN- Thug?
DREW- Yep.
CAROLIN- Boy you ain't no thug. What make you a thug?
DREW- (Laughing) My street statics.
CAROLIN- Umm hmm. You a mess. Y'all want something to drink or anythang?
PAUL- No, baby i'm alright.
DREW- (Look at paul) Baby? (Looked at Carolin) Ms. Carolin I don't know how you do it.
CAROLIN- (Laughed) Do what?
DREW- Nothing, nothin, nothin. Can I get one of them bottled waters? I think I'ma go over to the court.
PAUL- Drew you sure you don't wanna wait until Carolin's son get back so he can go. You don't know anybody out there.
PAUL- Yeah. He just went right there to his lil girlfriend house. He should be back here pretty soon.
DREW- Man pop I don't need no escort. I can hold my own. I'ma solo type dude anyway so ain't nobody really gone have a reason to say something to me.
PAUL- Iight Drew but you don't need to get your name too deep in the system over here too.
DREW- Pop once you in the system, you in the system. All they gotta do is type my name in and the same stuff gone pop up.
PAUL- Whateva Drew. Go ahead. You gotta better answer for everything.
You will learn.
DREW- Iight Ms. Carolin.
CAROLIN- Bye Drew.
I got in my car and went over to the park to the basketball court. It was still some b***hes out there, but not as many as when we passed by it. It was still a good bit of dudes on the court. Sweating like crazy and yeah it was sexy but it just wasn't doing anything for me. But it was this one dude that caught my attention over on the court. He was by his self on a half court just shooting baskets. I was all the way on the other side. The b***hes was right on the side of me. I know I love girls more then I like dudes so it has to be something about dude to make me walk all the over there to him. He was brown skin, rocking the low fade, standing about 6"00 with a nice lil ass on him. That ass looked so good in them basket ball shorts and that was doing something for me.
DREW- What's good homie?
HOMIE- (Just kept shooting)
DREW- Yoo, what's good?
HOMIE- (Still taking shots)
DREW- Damn yo. Atl niggas like that?
That caught his attention and that was exactly what I wanted. He walked towards me with the ball tucked up under his arm.
HOMIE- You say what nigga?
He got all up on me like he was ready to bam. If we was back in my hood, yeah I would have dropped him. But I was in his territory with like 20 other niggas around that might try and lynch my ass. I neutralized the situation perfectly.
DREW- I said ball up nigga.
I pushed the ball from under his arm and went running on to the court and did a sweet ass lay up. He got back on the court still mad but actually playing back with me. Guarding me and trying to get the ball but he was too slow. I did another lay up right over him. I hit the back bored and watch the ball come back then hit a three pointer. I could tell he was getting frustrated. He was so f***king sexy with the sweat running down his face. I was even wondering where these feelings had been coming from. I hit 17 then all of a sudden i'm seeing other dudes as fine and sexy in a sexual way. I knew I had to keep moving to keep my d***k from getting hard. I had been shooting basket after basket then I finally missed. He ended up with the ball in his hand. Now I was about to see where his game was at. I was guarding him but he moved in closer and closer then spoofed right pass me and dunk the goal. I was so impress and turned on. I started to get hard and it was rising pretty f***kin fast. I had to walk off the court and sit down on the ground so he couldn't see it.
HOMIE- What the hell you stop for?
DREW- (Breathing hard) Tired man.
HOMIE- You ain't no damn tired. I ain't even tired and we been doing the same amount of movement.
DREW- I smoke yo.
HOMIE- Whateva dude. You don't think I smoke?
DREW- Ohh. You don't look like it. You seem like an athlete.
HOMIE- Well i'm not. I just come here blow off steam.
DREW- Word I feel you. That was a nice dunk though.
HOMIE- I know. That dunk sat'cho ass down.
DREW- Yeah it did.
